 Фонтан Семи Красавиц возле Министерства внутрених дел в Баку. Один с руководителей в Азербайджане- Фахрадын, или просто Фахи))))   ( тут хочеться по-кавказки поднять указательный палец вверх)

 Наша хорошоя компашка!!!!!!!!!!!! ( но не все) И прекрасные дамы, которые любезно помогали нам по дому эти 8 дней)))) Спасибо Вам)
 Наша команда украинок: Инна - коренная киевлянка с Одессы) 3 курс, Настя с Запорожья, магистр, Саша- бакалавр-хмельничанка с Киева ( все факультет " Международное право") Ну и Девид- замечательный парень которй обездил пол света( и это правда!) за свои 20 лет))))) Мне бы так))) На проекте он узнал, что поступил на магистратуру в крутой университет)))

 Это задание мы делали вмести , но не на анг язке, а на своем родном! В моей группе были греки и грузинка))))) Весело было! Нам надо было договориться не понимая друг друга( только жесты и рисования помогало) Чт-то  про мир и то что мы хоть и разные, мы все-таки единые, потому что жители одной планеты)
 С замечательной Настей под цветущим гранатом! гранат- символ Азербайджана. Жаль, что на сезон плодов не попала.
 Парк Гейда́ра Алирза́ оглы́ Али́ева) И да, в Баку что не парк, то им. Г. Алиева (со слов местного жителя)  советский и азербайджанский государственныйпартийный и политический деятель. Президент Азербайджана с 1993 по 2003 год
Мы сбежали с занять!!))) Идея наша, а досталось Эльнуру, за это))) Едим мороженку, гуляем по а-ля японскому парку. Наверно, здесь очень красиво вечером, когда фонарики зажигаются!
 Тот же день!  Через нас занятия не начинались( пришло все-таки работать...
... Но насторение было игрывым. Вот какого человечка я нарисовала ( хотя критики не оценили) Я думаю, это моя лучшая работа со времен окончания художественной школы. задание было охарактеризовать бест тренера курсов) Все списывалось с Макса, поляка с юкей- пока лучшего тренера, которого мне доводилось встречать.
Вечерами конечно культурные програмы))) Все как полагаеться.

This document contains some practical information about the training course and your arrival.
Please, remember to keep all boarding passes, tickets and receipts, as we will need them for financial purposes.

GENERAL INFORMATION

THE COURSE:

This training course, designed for youth workers from different European youth organizations, focuses on communication skills in inter-cultural environments. The course is an educational journey through styles and methods of communication with young people coming from different ethnic, national and cultural backgrounds aiming at equipping participants with competences in inter-cultural communication.
The programme of the course is based on non-formal educational methodologies and composed of of a range of mixed working methods, including team-building activities, creative workshops, power-point presentations, discussions and simulation games.


AIMS & OBJECTIVES:
• To foster participants’ skills in facilitating intercultural communication
• To analyse intercultural communication processes on various levels: from individual  to social
• To raise participants’ awareness on how culture affects communication
• To improve the participants’ understanding of the balance between culture and language skills and the role language plays in ensuring effective communication
• To provide an insight into various aspects of communication – verbal, non-verbal, language, culture, symbols and contextualize of messages
• To promote the Youth in Action Programme as a tool for intercultural learning

The course also aims to foster partnerships between countries while explaining how participants can continue activity with their new partners.

INTERCULTURAL EVENING

During the training, one evening will be set aside as an intercultural evening where participants are encouraged to share their culture, beliefs and traditions.
Each country will be allocated a space to give a presentation, show pictures or videos of the area/country they live in.  It would also be nice if you could share materials about your project and the things you do.
There is also an opportunity to share food and drink, so please bring with you some traditional food and drinks which are typical of your area, for people to try, it is also possible to share your music or material culture if possible.   

BAKU




Baku is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, as well as the largest city on the Caspian Sea and of the Caucasus region. Baku is located 28 metres (92 ft) below sea level, which makes it the lowest lying national capital in the world.
Baku is also the largest city in the world located below sea level. It is located on the southern shore of the Absheron Peninsula, which projects into the Caspian Sea. The city consists of two principal parts: the down town area and the old Inner City (21.5 ha). At the beginning of 2009, Baku's urban population was estimated at just over two million people.
Officially, about 25 percent of all inhabitants of the country live in Baku's metropolitan area.

YOUR ACCOMMODATION
You will stay in the International Student House in Baku, the house is run by the Azerbaijan Students Union, the training room is also located here. For pictures and information please visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/asustudenthouse/

There will be wifi provided at the house but the signal strength changes due to the number of users during training courses.


CURRENCY
The domestic currency is the AZN (Azerbaijani New Manat), which is about 1.15 to the Euro. There are many ATM’s and money-changers throughout the town, most will accept Visa and Master Card.

WEATHER

The weather in Baku is currently very warm but expect this to rise as we move into June, weather will be hot but please prepare some warm clothes just in case.

ELIGIBLE TRANSPORT
You are entitled for the reimbursement of up to 70% of your travel costs. However, in order to receive this, there are few rules you need to follow:
  1. Travel must be economy/2nd class for a plane, train or bus ticket. No taxi costs will be refunded unless there is no public transport that covers your journey.
  2. You must travel the most economic way available.
  3. You must present all the travel documents and receipts.
  4. You must present a completed the Reimbursement form.

Even though up to 70% travel costs can be reimbursed, the actual amount that participants can recover from each of the different participating countries may vary. For more details please contact the person in charge in your organization.

Please note that you can only claim 70% of the travel cost. If this exceeds our budgeted amount, you will have to cover these costs yourself

REIMBURSEMENT PROCESS 

In order to claim the reimbursement, you will need to provide all your tickets including boarding cards so please try to get the online tickets and boarding passes, as without these we will not be able to reimburse your travel costs on the spot (PLEASE PROVIDE TICKETS IN ENGLISH). Before arriving, you need to send us the travel claim form, explaining your travel details.
If you can only provide one-way travel tickets for the 10th/11th  you will be asked to send all your complete travel expenses and receipts to us after the course with the mentioned reimbursement.
Please also remember to add reference note: Intercultural Comms so we can identify your claim.

      The Excel version of the form in Excel format

Please note this process may take a while. You should receive your money within maximum 1 month of the reimbursement forms being delivered to our office. If possible, please try to get all tickets and boarding passes in electronic format.

INSURANCE

Participants MUST arrange their own travel insurance. If you are EU resident, you can use the free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). For more information, please check: ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=509&langId=en.
Please note that citizens from outside the EU will not be eligible for EHIC and must take private insurance which is not reimbursable by the project.

If possible, please kindly provide us with the details of your insurance before you go.

DIETARY/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Please inform us ASAP if you have any dietary requirements or special dietary requests. If you have any allergies, please also let us know and don’t forget to bring your own medicines.
